玩!志工!  To be a volunteer

Today is my special day.

I get to an elementary school to help move some education equipment to suitable classroom.

To be a first-day volunteer, everything to me is interesting.

I see two youth like me to help the school move the stuff.

One problem comes; there is no safety insurance for the volunteers.

So I make a phone call to my friend who do insurance for living and ask some insurance issue.

Two hours passes, we finish daily work of moving stuff, and then we take a rest and drink some sport drink.

I tell the teacher who is in charge of school moving and campus maintenance, I will come tomorrow!

After saying goodbye to faculty employee, I go to the insurance company to find out the rules and the insurance fee about volunteers working at school.

Luckily, there is a commissioner in charge of public accident insurance.

It does not cost me a long time to deal with the volunteer insurance business.

The first day working as volunteer, I learn lots of things!

I'm glad and lucky could be there and do something right and meaningful!
