香港女孩的加入&保險很重要  A Hong Kong lady joins us and we handle the insurance

The third day I get to elementary school to provide volunteer service.

I get there at 8:56; a junior high school student is already sitting on the chair waiting for the service time comes.

Teacher takes out the attendance sheet and let us signs on our name.

During signing on our names, here comes a young lady I guess she might not be a volunteer, maybe she wants to find the teacher asking for some information.

But!

I ask her, may I help you or do you want to find the Director of General Affairs or Section Chief of Purchase & Maintenance.

She is a volunteer and she will provide service at school, she says.

She shocks me of course all the people in the school office!

Today's daily works are to abandon some useless file of school and clean the basement of school building.

There's a saying, do not underestimate the person you don't know!

The new lady volunteer works hard this morning.

It breaks the myth about ladies could not do heavy work.

It's pretty good some passionate volunteers join us!

After service time, I stay at school office and help the Section Chief who is in charge of volunteer affairs with accident insurance.

During the consulting time, we find that the insurance salesperson could not provide us the insurance of volunteer and her not polite attitude.

So we look for the information about volunteer on the Net and then we find some information provided by Ministry of Education.

Thanks God!

We finally find that information and make a phone call to the cooperation insurance company and ask for volunteer insurance service.

Section Chief and I accomplish this volunteer insurance, so everybody works as a volunteer at elementary school is insured.

Of course being insured guarantees volunteers’ right, we still need to be careful all the working time.
